A Real Shoe Store

In 2007 an old "shoe dog", his wife, and son opened SAS Shoes Yonkers a family owned and operated SAS Store. Specializing in Quality and Service the way shoe stores used to be. Fifteen years later and our family wanted to expand on that for our customers even more. By changing the name to Steve's Shoes we are expanding on those same core values. Now we can give you Quality, Service and Selection.

Our employees have many years of experience in sizing and fitting shoes. We take the time to measure both feet (no two feet are the same!) and fit your foot to the right shoe. Not only do we have a wide variety of sizes but each shoe fits differently. All styles fit differently. Many customers may require doctor recommended orthotics. Inserts may require added depth in the shoe and make it fit differently, which is why some of our shoes are built with added depth to accommodate this.

Our specialty is comfort shoes, all our shoes have some degree of arch support built into the shoe with some even having removable footbeds for people with custom orthotics. We also carry a wide variety of over the counter inserts and comfort socks.

Many podiatrists in the area recommend a number of our shoes for a range of foot problems such as bunions, hammer toes, heel spurs, plantar fasciosis, and footwear for diabetics. Your foot is the foundation for your whole body, so what you have on your feet can help prevent many other issues. When your feet are happy, you're happy!
