Narrow Feet? No Problem.

Narrow Feet? No Problem.

A lot of attention and focus is given on wide feet. Most feet grow and spread as we get older, ligaments and tendons in your body loosening a little. Weight loss and gain can contribute to shoe size changing as well. Also most foot issues, like bunions and hammer toes, require you to go to a wider size.

So a lot of shoes run wide or come in wider sizes. This can make it hard for the people that have narrow feet and need narrow shoes and sandals. According to the National Shoe Retailers Association, around 33 percent of all women have narrow feet. Women’s shoes in size A and Men’s shoes in size B (both equivalent to narrow) are definitely hard to find. But Women’s shoes in size AA-AAA or Men’s Shoes in size A (both equivalent to Slim) are almost impossible!

Thankfully SAS does make a large number of styles of shoes and sandals, for men and women, in both Narrow and Slim. Sometimes it depends on the fit of the style as well as not all the styles fit the same. This is why it is best to come into the store and be properly fitted by one of our experienced salespeople. In a study done by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, 75 percent of the women polled had not had their feet measured in five years.

We try to keep as many narrow and slim shoes in stock as possible. If we don’t have a size that we carry in stock we can get it, as long as they make it. Below are links to show what Narrow and Slims we currently have in stock at our store. Just select your size on the left (if you're on your desktop) or Refine By and add your size (if on a mobile device).
